Aladdin is a character from the Disney film Aladdin (1992). He is unlocked after opening the Aladdin Realm, completing the quest Carpet Diem and placing Aladdin and Jasmine's House.

His home is a palace tower where he lives together with Jasmine. Once unlocked, he will be added to the Dreamlight Valley Characters Collection.

Unlocking

Aladdin is unlocked after opening the Aladdin Realm (for 15,000 Dreamlight) and completing the quest Carpet Diem. During the quest Aladdin and Jasmine's House must be constructed for 20,000, and once the construction is completed Aladdin will move to the Valley.

Carpet's great. I met him in the Cave of Wonders. He saved Abu and me, big time. We have SO much fun flying together. Have you ever gone flying? →  I have! Then you understand. It makes the world feel completely different. Like you're free. Like you can go anywhere — do anything! →   Never. Oh, you gotta try it! It's like nothing else. I could ask Carpet if he'll take you for a ride sometime. Would you like that? →  Yes! Great! I'll ask Carpet next time I see him. →  Do I have to sing? What? Heh. I guess I was. It's just... there's so much food in this Valley! You can just pick apples. Or catch fish. Anytime you want. →  There's enough for everyone. Yeah. There is. If you had three wishes... No, that's too complicated. If you had ONE wish, anything in the world, what would you wish for? →  Money. I get that. I used to think being rich, living someplace fabulous, would mean you'd never have any problems. But I learned that's not true. Don't get me wrong, having enough to take care of yourself and those you love is super important. It's just NOT ALL that's important. →  Love. Sorry, but that's against Genie's wish provisos. What else? [Continue to next line] →  Something else... [Continue to next line] →  Knowledge. I never thought about that. What a great use of a wish. Do you like to travel?

Well, I didn't really go anywhere growing up, and I don't like to be gone from my friends for too long... But sometimes a romantic carpet ride to a far-away land is just what you need. →  What's the most beautiful thing you've seen? Hmm... Oh, there's this garden on the water with an amazing building surrounded by giant columns and beautiful trees. The apples aren't bad, either. →  What's the most spectacular thing you've seen? Oh, there was this one place that seemed to be having some sort of festival. They were shooting sparkling lights up in the sky! It was incredible! I don't know how they did it, but it made my time there with Jasmine pretty romantic. →  What's the most surprising thing you've seen? Well, there's this desert city, but it's on a river! And there are these huge stone pyramids. Though Jasmine and I do feel a little bad about distracting this sculptor and ruining his big statue. →  Where would you visit next? Honestly, I'm happy here for now! I've got Jasmine with me, good friends, and so much still to explore. Why leave? →  Does Carpet ever get tired? Yeah, sure. But I let him take the lead. Whenever he needs to rest, we always take a break. →  I'd love to travel more. You definitely should! You learn so much about the world - and yourself.

Do you miss having Genie around?

Sure. Of course. But he deserves a chance to see the world without anybody telling him what to do. →  Isn't it hard to get by without magic? Nah. I spent most of my life getting by without magic. Honestly, I just miss having my friend around. →  Do you think Genie will come back? Definitely. Eventually. I bet he'll start to miss us as much as we miss him. →  Why didn't you go with him? Jasmine needed to stay in Agrabah, and I needed to stay with Jasmine. Not to mention the fact that travelling with two humans, a monkey, and a magic carpet would probably slow him down.

Do you miss living in the marketplace?

It's interesting... I'll never forget that I came from the marketplace. I'm proud of that. But I don't have to miss it. We visit whenever we like. So there's been change... but not too much. How do you feel about change, Player? →  I love it! Me too! I love having each day be something new. →  It's a necessity of life. *SIGH* Kinda sounds like you've made peace with it... At least a little bit. →  I dread it with every fiber of my being. Sounds like there's a story there. I know change can be scary, but we can't stay the same. We have to move forward, right?

Is that a banana?

Well, I picked some bananas. I'm headed to Remy's. He's gonna teach me how to make something called a "banana split." It's for the raccoons in the Forest of Valor. →  You sure they like banana splits? Well, I know they prefer berries... But who knows; maybe they'll appreciate a change of pace! Won't know until I try. AND, I'll have a great treat to make for Abu in the future. →  Raccoons are adorable. They are. And smart! Did you know they have thumbs? They can open things with their little hands! ... Can you tell that Jasmine and I've been reading about the animals here? →  How would Abu feel about raccoons? Oh, he'd be suspicious at first. But he'd warm up to them eventually, especially if they share food. Abu knows he'll always be my best friend. Hey, maybe I'll make HIM a banana split the next time I see him!

Where'd you learn that apple trick you do?

That? Well, I taught myself. It just took a lot of practice. →  Think I could learn it? Sure! Knowing you, Player, you can do anything you put your mind to. I mean, look at everything you've done with this place! →  I don't like practicing things! Well, the bad news is: That's the only way you learn to do a trick like that. Practicing and making mistakes. The good news is: When you find something you like, practicing's fun! →  Ever tried it with a different fruit? Once, with a small melon. But it smashed everywhere! Luckily, Abu was happy to eat what was left.

What's it like being engaged to a princess?

Well, it's definitely different from what I'm used to, but I pick things up pretty quickly. There's lots of rules, and etiquette. Luckily, Jasmine knows all that stuff. AND she's a patient teacher. →  Sounds like you make a good team. We do! She teaches me, and I teach her stuff, too. Some days, I still can't believe we found each other. →  Etiquette? Sounds boring. Actually, it's not! I know, I was surprised too. But it is really complex. I try to see things like that as a challenge or puzzle. That makes it fun! →  I thought Jasmine didn't like rules? Just the rules that don't make sense. Jasmine is VERY smart about traditions, rituals, history... Pretty much everything, actually.

What's your favorite part of the Valley?

My favorite? Whoa, it's so hard to choose... Well, I'm definitely happy to be back here with all our friends. The Forgetting took those memories away, but I think I knew something was missing. And if I haven't told you - you've done a great job fixing things up around here. →  Why, thank you! Hey, credit where it's due. I know how much work it is to be in charge. I try to help Jasmine and the Sultan out, and they're STILL busy all the time. →  I wouldn't trust anyone else with decorating! I don't just mean the decorating. I mean... You're helping all the Villagers. Bringing us back together, looking after us. It's kinda amazing, really. →  SOMEBODY had to do it. Well, we're lucky that somebody is you. Nobody else could have done it, Player.

Would you recommend being a prince to others?

Wow, that's, uh... quite a question. Well, there's a lot more to it than I imagined. The clothes, the attention, the responsibility... →  Tell me more about the clothes! Okay, I can't lie — THAT I really liked. You'd think prince clothing would be itchy and stuffy... But no! It was cool and really comfortable. Maybe not as comfortable as my usual clothes, but pretty luxurious. →  Did you enjoy the attention? Gotta admit, I really liked it at first. But after a while, the pressure starts to get to you. You can't just go for a relaxing walk down the street without everybody looking at you. →  Were the responsibilities steep? For me, not really. But then again, I wasn't really a prince - no kingdom to run. I just had to stay on top of my story. Which... turns out, did NOT work so well. How 'bout you? Would you wanna be royalty? →  In a heartbeat! Well, I hope you have a great time with it! →  Seems like too much work. Yeah. You should see the list of duties Jasmine has. I try to pitch in where I can, but it's exhausting just to watch! →  I already am royalty! Dreamlight royalty! Oh, sorry! My apologies, your highness! Heh. Guess I'm still learning the etiquette.

Yeah, I was. How could you tell? →  That far-off look in your eyes. Well, you're not wrong. I guess I probably look that way whenever I think about her. →  That dreamy smile. Hah! Trivia

• Aladdin's presence in Disney Dreamlight Valley was hinted at with the release of A Rift in Time. During The Secrets of Eternity Isle, Jafar tells the Player that during the Forgetting, he attempted to take charge and become the new Ruler of Dreamlight Valley, but had been exiled to Eternity Isle by Aladdin and the Genie, kickstarting the events of A Rift in Time. Jafar also regularly references Aladdin in his Daily Discussions.
• In-game, Aladdin is voiced by his original voice actor, Scott Weinger, who has returned to play Aladdin in nearly every major Disney project the character appears in.
