Sally is a character from the film The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). She is unlocked after completing the quest The Woven Bridge.

Her home is a tall spooky house where she lives together with Jack Skellington. Once unlocked, she will be added to the Dreamlight Valley Characters Collection.

In order to begin the quest to unlock Sally, Jack Skellington must be unlocked, and the quests Odds & Ends... and Healing House must be completed.

Unlocking

Sally is unlocked during the quest The Woven Bridge, which is available after completing the story quest Odds & Ends..., Mirabel's level 2 friendship quest Healing House, and unlocking Vanellope and Jack Skellington.

After the prerequisites have been met, Jack will send a letter in the mail about spiders in Anna's Castle. After receiving this letter, the quest will begin automatically when entering Anna's Castle.

I think so. I certainly get a lot of practice. →  Could you make a costume? Yes. I've made many costumes. Most of them for Jack. I would offer to make something for you, but I know you don't need help. Your wardrobe is already so impressive. →  Could you repair something? Certainly. I'm very good at repairing tears in... well, anything. Please let me know if you'd like anything fixed.

Can you see the future?

Oh. I don't... well, not exactly. Sometimes I have visions that show me things that might happen. →  Is it scary? At times. Sometimes it's sad. Sometimes it's worrying. And sometimes it's hopeful. It can be anything the future can be, I suppose. →  Is it useful? Not as useful as I'd like. Often, people won't listen. But Jack promised the next time I saw something, he would believe me. I hope that means I can help him. →  Can you tell my fortune? I've never been able to command my visions. But if I see anything that's about you, I'll be sure to tell you.

Am I? Oh, one of my arm threads must have caught on something. It's not that bad. I can fix it. →  Are you okay? I'll be fine. But thank you for asking. And for pointing it out. If you hadn't said anything, my arm might have come completely unstitched. →  Does it hurt? No. Not at all. It just feels a little loose. And I can fix it in a moment with a needle and thread. →  That seems inconvenient. It's not that bad. Everyone has little things they have to deal with. Luckily, I'm handy with a needle and thread.

How are you and Jack?

I think we're good. We've only recently started seeing each other in this new way. But it's going very well. He makes me happy. →  How long have you known each other? It feels like forever, really. In a small place like Halloween Town, everyone knows each other. Of course, we didn't used to spend as much time together. That's new. And really wonderful. →  Are you in love? Yes, we are... Oh. That's still exciting to say. "I'm in love." Such wonderful words. →  Does this make you the Pumpkin Queen? Oh no. Like I said, this is all very new to us. Jack and I are just enjoying spending time together. There's no need to rush.

Yes. I'm going to make soup tonight. I'm deciding which spices to use. Witch hazel? Or maybe worm's wort? →  That sounds disgusting. Oh, do you not like worm's wort? →  What does worm's wort taste like? It's rather sweet and warming. I'd say it's a bit like cinnamon. →   I have a different question... Yes? →  What's witch hazel good for? Well, witch hazel is good for the skin. It's wonderfully cooling, like a midnight breeze. →  Worm's wort is a funny name. It is, isn't it? It's a very useful ingredient. Worm's wort adds a sweetness to any soup. And it's good for covering other smells and flavors. →  What about deadly nightshade? I only use deadly nightshade when I absolutely must. Thank goodness I haven't had to in a while.

What's your favorite season?

Well, it's always fall in Halloween Town. I'm still trying to get to know the other seasons. Which of the others do you like most? →  I love spring! player I guess it's something about new beginnings... That does sound nice. →  Summer is a delight. player The nice weather, the long days... it's just idyllic! Green leaves on trees feels a bit uncanny to me. But I'm sure I'll get used to it. →  Oh, winter all the way. player Something about seeing all the trees without leaves is so beautiful. Well, I know Jack loves the snow... All the seasons do seem to have their own joys. I look forward to enjoying them.

Any suggestions for the Village?

Well, if you wanted to have a little flavor of Halloween... ...you could put up some bat boxes or perhaps build a belfrey to invite some new winged friends. Or you could invite more witches. They're very good at helping you get into the Halloween spirit. →   More witches? Yes. What do you think? →  I love this idea! I'm glad you like it. Perhaps we could sew them some decorative sleeves for their broomsticks as a welcome gift. →  We might have enough witches... player I mean, we have ONE sea witch and she's plenty. Perhaps you're right. Ursula IS formidable. I think she'd fit in nicely in Halloween Town. →   Bat boxes? Yes. You can never have too many bats. And they're very good at controlling insects. →  Bring on the bats! Hmm... perhaps I'll sew them all a little something. Bats wearing tiny hats might be quite festive. →  Bats aren't my thing. Do you mean what's my favorite color? Hmm... I think it changes. It's not black OR orange right now. At the moment, my favorite color is white. The color of the snowy hill where Jack and I first truly saw one another, his face — especially when he smiles, our friend Zero... Oh, but I'm getting carried away. What's YOUR favorite color? →  Red. Red like Santa Claus' suit! →  Orange. The color of ripe pumpkins, or the bright, blazing sun in Halloween Town. That is lovely. →  Yellow. Yellow suits you perfectly — you're so cheerful! →   Something else... →  Green. Ooh, like the color of a sea creature's scales, or a witch's warts. But maybe you were thinking of the grass and trees. →  Blue. Oh, like the color of the sky here! It is beautiful. →  Purple. Purple can be so rich and mysterious... →   Something else... →  Black. Oh, like cats and bats and the middle of the night. That's very Halloween of you. →  White. Well, you already know why that's special to me. →  I don't have a favorite. I understand. It's so hard to choose, isn't it? →  ALL colors are my favorite! Perhaps that's best — you see your favorite everywhere!

What do you think of Christmas?

I'm sure you know that Jack got quite obsessed with Christmas not too long ago. I'm so glad he found happiness with himself as the Pumpkin King again. But we all crave a little change now and then. So I understand why it interested him so much. →  I love change! Outfits, decorations... That's wonderful. You DO keep things interesting here. →  A little change can be nice. I agree. I tried FRESH herbs in my cooking for the first time the other day... It was strange, but nice. →  Change scares me. I understand. The unknown can be rather daunting. I've found it helps to have a friend along. So know that you can always come to me.

Which Biome do you like best?

Well, I suppose I feel most at home in the Forgotten Lands. I love visiting the Fairy Godmother. We discuss sewing, and she serves the most delicious pumpkin tea. What do you think of the Forgotten Lands, Player? →  I love decorating there! I'm sure it's a wonderful place to be creative. The atmosphere is so open to possibilities. →  They're too gloomy for me. I understand. After Jack returned from Christmas Town, we learned that everyone has different tastes. →  They speak to my soul. Well, then I'm sure you'd enjoy Halloween Town. Perhaps you could visit someday.

Does the rain bother you?

No. Not at all. I enjoy the rain. Though I do like to watch from inside. Otherwise it would take me days to dry. I wonder... Where does the rain come from? →  It's science! player Basically, the clouds get saturated with teeny water droplets. The droplets bump into each other and join together, getting bigger and bigger until... player ...they get too heavy to stay in the clouds and they fall. Rain! player Then, the sun heats them up on the ground, they turn into tiny water droplets through evaporation, float back up to the sky and it starts all over again. How fascinating. Have you told Jack about this? →  The clouds are upset. Hmm... Well, if that's true... ...I hope they feel better when it's over. Sometimes a good cry can do that. →  Honestly, I don't know. Perhaps we should check Merlin's library? There must be something in there that can tell us.

How did you learn to sew?

Oh, I taught myself. Out of necessity, I suppose... Do you enjoy sewing, Player? →  I love it! Really? That's wonderful. I'm sure you sew very well. You seem to have a magical touch. →  I wish I knew how. Well, if you learn, you can sew clothes, or quilts, or other things. It's really very useful. →  It's not my thing. I understand. Jack isn't interested in sewing either. He likes experimenting and designing frights. As long as it makes you happy and does no harm, any hobby can be wonderful.
