Seed of Memories is a Friendship Quest available from Simba.

It's offered after reaching Friendship level 7 with Simba, progressing with Scar, and clearing the path to the Forgotten Lands.

After planting the Dreamlight Tree the time to grow (including watering) is about three days.

Note

Later in the quest requires watering the planted Dreamlight Tree Seed & waiting many hours between waterings to advance the quest. Although this can be advanced by applying a growth elixir it is not recommended as players have reported issues and bugs which could halt quest progress.

Quest Text

Simba wants to learn more about his past in Dreamlight Valley. He asks for your help. The problem is that the only reliable source around here is Scar. You decide for everybody's sake that you'll go talk to him.

Scar puts you on the path of the Dreamlight Tree Seed hidden in the Sunlit Plateau's Mines.

Merlin directs you on how to get the Dreamlight Tree Seed. You need to create two potions to reinfuse it with Dreamlight Magic.

Now that you have the Dreamlight Tree Seed, it's time to plant it and Simba knows the perfect spot on the Sunlit Plateau.

Objectives

• Talk to Scar.
• Search the Sunlit Plateau's Mines for a hidden entrance.
• Interact with the strange rocks.
• Investigate the objects in the room:

• The drawing on the wall.
• The table full of tubes and beakers.

• Talk to Merlin about what you saw.
• Gather the following materials:

Dream Shard (3).

Night Shard (3).

Blueberry (6).

Orange Marsh Milkweed (3).

Empty Vial (2).

• Craft the following potions:

Potion of Growth.

Potion of Dust.

• Place the Potions in the empty spaces on the Table in the Herbalist Room.
• Get the Dreamlight Tree Seed from the Alchemist's Table in the Herbalist Room
• Return to Simba
• Follow Simba
• Plant the Dreamlight Tree Seed near the pond on the Sunlit Plateau
• Water the Dreamlight Tree Seed
• Listen to Simba and Scar's conversation.
• Talk to Simba
