Snippet Catching is an activity which involves using the Net to catch Snippets.

When catching Snippets there are two potential catching events which can trigger, similar to those experienced when harvesting crops.

Critical Harvest

Multiple Snippets of the same type will spread out in an area on the ground with a glowing red aura, rather than the standard blue. These can be collected by walking over them, and will disappear after a short time. Four (4) possible items to collect are produced in total - one from the initial catch, and 3 that are scattered in the immediate area. The time allotted to collect the scattered items before they disappear is less than that for a crop Critical Harvest, and the music sound effect extends beyond the allotted time.

Golden Harvest

The Snippet will shine golden for a short time. During the time it is glowing it can be harvested over and over with a faster harvest animation to quickly collect multiple.
