Daily Resets

As of the 2022.12.06 update (or perhaps one of the subsequent hotfixes?) I don't believe that Daily Discussions reset at 12:00 AM UTC / 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PST (Global) any longer - I believe it is now aligned with 12:00AM for everyone. I haven't stayed up until midnight to verify, though, (or for me, 11pm, since my game time is an hour offset), so maybe someone else could chime in. Lizz (talk) 23:54, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

- I woke up middle of the night and attempted to catch the red fox - at 4AM game time (I'm on PST), daily discussion had still NOT reset, nor had Scrooge's shop. I suspect it also resets at 5 AM. Lizz (talk) 18:18, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
- I am PST time zone and Blue/Moonstone chest appeared at 9PM PST, Green chest appeared at 10 PM PST, Favourite Gifts had NOT yet reset by 1 AM PST GrailQuest

WALL-E's Garden

  • This resets at 8AM game time for me daily, I believe - I assume this would be consistent for all players - can anyone else confirm? Lizz (talk) 16:52, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
  • Hmm.... today when I logged in at ~630am game time, it was ready to harvest, even though I swear in the past I've literally watched the crops become ready at 8am game time. Not sure on this. Lizz (talk) 14:08, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

I feel fairly confident that there are also set times when Villagers are in Scrooge's Store, and am surprised I haven't seen any information about this... anywhere, yet. This is what I have so far:

5 characters remain (Buzz, Woody, Scar, Ursula, Ariel) and 3 timeslots (1AM, 2AM, 3AM). I'm predicting that only Characters who also go to Remy's would go to Scrooge's, which leaves only Scar. Since his sleep time is 2AM-5AM and every Shop timeslot is 2h, I'm predicting no one is in the shop from 1AM-4AM -- but if anyone could verify, that would be great! All of the above known information has been incorporated into the main page. I also created a CSS class (well, actually an ID, because the other cells were using IDs, and I wanted to be consistent, even though it seems like a class should be used, but I digress) in my personal common.css file - but it really should be defined wherever the other 2 styles are defined as well. I believe that is in Vector.css and Mobile.css, but I don't have permission to edit them, and didn't want the table to look bad in the interim. Will gladly remove from my local file once a class is defined there (open to choosing another bg color as well - a shade of yellow seemed like a nice balance to me, but I didn't know if there was a defined palette for the wiki) Lizz (talk) 22:09, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

Villager Homes

I furthermore suspect that there are set times in which Villagers are right outside of their homes or in their homes, but not sleeping. This could certainly be looked into from a completeness standpoint, but I personally think it's less of a priority. Tracking when multiple characters are in shared spaces and making that information available allows players to more easily check off multiple Daily Discussions at once, or give many gifts, accomplish questlines for multiple characters, etc. Lizz (talk) 23:54, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
