The Bind refers to both a Biome and a region inside that Biome in the Storybook Vale. Both are detailed in this article..

The Bind is a biome in Storybook Vale, available only in the paid expansion The Storybook Vale.

It is the first biome the player must unlock after its subregion The Library of Lore. The Library of Lore region is unlocked at no cost immediately after purchasing the expansion and beginning the introductory quest.

The ink blocking the pathway to this biome can be cleared using 500 Storybook Magic.

The The Library of Lore Wishing Well is unlocked automatically. A second well is available to unlock in the The Bind using 10,000. Once unlocked, they provide fast travel teleportation using the map.

Owls are the critter type in this Biome. Their favorite food is Barley, and they also like Grains as they are defined on the Ingredients tab of the Collection Menu.^[1]

Their feeding method is to approach normally - no special type of interaction is necessary.

Each color of critter follows a specific schedule - only appearing during certain times on specific days of the week.

	Just like when you fix up an old book you love or share a favorite story.
