The Circle of Life is a Story Quest which available from Scar. It's available after leveling Friendship with Scar to level 7.

During this quest Mother Gothel gives directions through the Vitalys Mine to the location of the Old Bones, they read: "When you walk into the mines, take a left, walk for a bit, take the first right you see, then take another left".

Quest Text

Scar has an idea about how to remove the last of the skulls. He is now sure Mother Gothel had a way to pass through the wildebeest bones before and suggest you go talk to her.

Mother Gothel is still mad at Scar for scaring her in the past, but she agrees to help you. She explains that the solution to the wildebeest bones barrier lies in some Old Bones and the Circle of Life.

After speaking with Scar, you realize you'll have to turn the Old Bones and Ashes then plant them so a Flower can grow.

You use the Flower to craft an upgrade for your Royal Shovel.

It worked. Scar must be happy to finally be able to explore the Plateau again.

Objectives

• Talk to Mother Gothel.
• Gather the materials for the upgrade:

Purified Night Shard (10)

• The Old Bones in the mines under the Sunlit Plateau

• Return to Scar
• Place the Old Bones in the Volcanic Geyser in Scar's Cave.
• Pick up the Ashes.
• Plant the Ashes anywhere on the Sunlit Plateau.
• Care for the Flower of Bones
• Craft the Roaring Shovel Head.
