The Great Gathering is a Friendship Quest available from Simba.

It's offered after reaching Friendship level 4 with Simba, progressing with Remy, and unlocking Minnie Mouse and Maui.

The missing ingredient for the cake in this quest is Sugarcane.

Quest Text

Simba wants to have a gathering to bring everyone in the Valley together. You decide to start by talking to Remy about what food should be served.

After deciding who would be the perfect people to invite, you go talk to them.

Now that everything is ready for the gathering, Simba thinks it's only fair you get to choose when and where it will take place.

The party was a success but now Simba needs to go and apologize to Nala for putting off a task she asked him to help with.

Nala unlocked some sort of memory of Simba's role in Dreamlight Valley before the Forgetting. She's sure something is wrong with this place, and that only Simba can fix it. Now Simba is sure of it too. Something is wrong with the Circle of Life in the Valley, and his lost memories hold the key to fixing it.

Objectives

• Talk to Remy.
• Figure out the last Ingredient for the cake. It asks for Eggs, Milk, Fruit, Wheat, and... something sweet?
• Cook the Meals for Simba's gathering:

Aurora's Cake ( Wheat, Egg, Milk, Any Fruit, Sugarcane)

Large Seafood Platter. ( Any Seafood (4), Lemon)

• Bring the Meals to Simba
• Invite the following Villagers to Simba's gathering:

Goofy.

Minnie.

Maui.

• Return to Simba.
• Place the "No Worries" Banquet.
• Throw Simba's great gathering.
• Return to Simba.
• Listen to Simba apologize to Nala.
• Talk to Simba.
• Plant and grow Carrots in the Meadow (9)
• Feed some animals around the Valley (5)
• Talk to Nala.
• Return to Simba

Hey Nala. PLAYER and I missed you at the party-- Party?! Simba, we were supposed to meet to scout for food. Oh no! That was today...? Yes. I know you wanted to have a gathering, but you also said you'd help me. And that's not all. Some of my memories of the Valley are starting to come back. I remember that you used to have some sort of special role here, Simba. I think we need to figure out what it was. Or bad things will keep happening here. I'm sorry Nala! I honestly just forgot. And you're right. We need to figure out this memory you've had.
