Iron Ingot and Gold Ingot buy prices

I noticed recently-ish (and only very recently actually confirmed and added to wiki) that both Iron and Gold Ingots have higher buy prices than sell prices. I'm not sure if this was an oversight, or a change - possibly in Update 4, but maybe even in Update 3? It's *possible* that we were just excited to get them added to the stall in Update 2 and didn't notice the price differential, and *maybe* we were more focused on the changes in item limits in Update 3 and didn't notice the price differential then (again)... but both seem kind of unlikely? But at the same time, I ~feel~ like I've been seeing the gold ingots selling for 250 for longer than this update. Does anyone else have any recollections, or concrete evidence?
