Removal of requirement to add all 3 rooms before adding new floor?

I'm not sure when it happened, but I noticed recently in version 1.4 (but it could have been earlier...) that there's no longer a requirement to add all 3 adjoining rooms to the main room of a floor before you can add the next floor up. Does anyone else have any notes or memories of this requirement existing in 1.2 or 1.3? If I had to wager a guess, I might guess that this requirement was removed in 1.3, when movable doors and customizing wallpaper by wall was added. Lizz (talk) 18:54, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

Actually... looking back at some of my other floors, I found not all of them have 3 adjoining rooms. Maybe I'm mistaken, and you didn't have to add all 3 rooms to create the next level up. I do believe it is the case that you have to add all 3 rooms on the first floor before you can add a second floor though, correct? Sorry for any confusion I'm adding here!
