A Bit of Help from Your Friends is an Eternity Isle Quest available from Merlin.

The quest is only available to players who have purchased the expansion pack A Rift in Time. It automatically begins after completing the quest The Sunken Ruins. It requires completion of three subquests from Rapunzel, Gaston, and EVE: All the Right Notes, Hero Pose, and Does Not Compute.

It is the second quest in a chain of three to unlock Oswald. It is followed by the quest The Spark of Imagination.

Quest Text

To venture deeper into the Ancient Ruins, you'll need to pull together an adventuring party.

With EVE's help, you power up the Ancient Console. Now you've only got two more challenges to face.

With Gaston's help, you finish the second challenge in the West Chamber. Only one challenge remains. It's time to get musical.

With Rapunzel's help, you complete the challenge in the East Chamber. You must now venture through the trap door, deeper into the Ancient Ruins. For this part, you must go alone.

Objectives

  • Complete the following Quests to assemble your team:
  • Everyone is ready. Return to the Ancient Ruins.
  • Speak to your team inside the Ancient Ruins:
  • Meet EVE in the North Chamber of the Ancient Ruins.
  • Talk to EVE.
  • Find a way to restore power to the Ancient Console.
  • Step on the pressure plate behind the Ancient Console to restore power.
  • Return to EVE.
  • Leave the North Chamber
  • Go see Gaston or Rapunzel on either side of the temple:
  • Talk to Gaston in the West Chamber.
  • Remove the Rubble around the big pedestals in the West Chamber. (3)
  • Return to Gaston in the West Chamber of the Ancient Ruins.
  • Gaston is on the pedestal but it's not working yet...
  • Ask if he requires something else.
  • Activate the pressure plates on both sides of the room:

  • Place yourself on the other sidekick spot behind Gaston.
  • Return to Rapunzel in the East Chamber of the Ancient Ruins.
  • Talk to Rapunzel.
  • The music wall is activated:
  • Figure out the right arrangement of the notes.
  • Activate the pressure plate next to the music wall to complete the duet.
  • Return to Rapunzel.
  • Activate the last pressure plate near the trap door.
  • The trap door is open!
  • Venture through the trap door into the lower part of the Ancient Ruins.
