Editions
Editions are versions of the game available for sale which may have differences in content, contain Moonstones, and unique cosmetic items. The early access digital editions, called Founder's Packs, are no longer available since December 5, 2023 when the game left early access. They were replaced with a new version - the Gold Edition.
The Cozy Edition is a physical packaging of the game, and the digital version available on Apple Arcade is called the Arcade Edition.
Cozy Edition
Disney Dreamlight Valley Cozy Edition is a physical retail offering of Disney Dreamlight Valley featuring exclusive physical and digital items in addition to full access to the base game. It was available for pre-order starting August 30, 2023. It launched October 27, 2023 on Nintendo Switch in North American retailers only. On November 10, 2023 it will launch on Nintendo Switch in other regions, as well as on all other relevant platforms.

All Founder's Pack owners who purchased the game during early access will receive the cosmetic rewards from the Gold Edition when it releases, as well as 2,500 Moonstones[3].

Arcade Edition
Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition is available digitally. It includes access to the base game of Disney Dreamlight Valley and the Expansion Pass A Rift In Time. It launched December 5, 2023 in the Mac App Store on Apple Arcade.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition on Apple Arcade does not contain in-app purchases. As such, Star Path seasons and the Premium Shop are not found in this version.[4]
The UI has been updated to better support touch screen devices.[5]
Cross-play is supported, meaning that Apple Arcade subscribers can visit the Valleys of friends who play on other platforms and vice versa. Cross-play is supported across Apple Arcade platforms, PC, Mac, and console platforms, except on PlayStation consoles.[6]
Cross-save is not supported for platforms outside of the Apple Arcade ecosystem. Apple Arcade subscribers can carry their game progress over to any of their Apple devices within the Apple Arcade ecosystem - iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac - via cross-save, which is tied to the player's Apple Account.[7]
