When making new furniture pages, can we tag them with missing categories & not categorize them as decor by default unless the categories are actually verified? It's hard to figure out which furniture are missing categories / incorrectly categorized as decor when this is done by default.

:I'm guilty of this and agree it's messy to cleanup - will make sure going forward to leave leave the param empty if it's not been verified in game! -- Marblemadmax (talk) 09:40, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

Cookbook recipe vs required recipe
Are the recipes on the wiki supposed to list the ingredients given by the in-game cookbook or the actual items needed to make it? A few recipes (for example, red fruit pie) use one or more generic ingredients (ex: wheat, butter, any fruit), but if you use any ingredient in the category other than one (ex: any fruit other than raspberry) you get a different item. In either case, it would be helpful if the infobox could at least have a reference at the bottom noting the difference between the cookbook recipe and the required ingredients.

:The standard we've used so far is to match the game in all cases - EXCEPT when it states a recipe uses "Any Ingredient" and that's not the case. For example if a recipe calls for 'ANY VEGGIE' (example) and specific veggies don't produce the recipe the wiki should instead list the veggies which work. This is not a perfect solution - players will continue to point out the wiki is different than the game and think it's in error - but it's more accurate this way, and will be less prone to players finding the info, trying to make a recipe and then not understanding why it doesn't work (which can happen if you're only using the game cookbook for reference). -- Marblemadmax (talk) 09:38, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
