Talk:Large Seafood Platter

Hi! - Quick Question, I noticed that food dishes that do not use specific ingredients(ex: Recipes that call for a category such as seafood or vegetable rather than clam or carrot), the energy and price can fluctuate based on the ingredients used. I just wanted to check, when entering this info on recipe pages, if we are using the lowest price and energy given? Thanks! Powder (talk) 03:48, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

It's based on what the game displays - which I believe is the minimum base price/energy and has a + (it actually has a + next to everything in game, when some recipes don't have variable ingredients). We could maybe add a parameter for those which have + ability, but the standard is the lowest price/energy - I'll have a look at improving this! -- Marblemadmax (talk) 12:00, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
Yep, use what the game displays on the collection tab -- which to add even a little bit more detail, will not necessarily even be a combination cost/energy version of the meal that can be created. For example, the game displays Green Salad (1 Any Vegetable, 1 Lettuce) as "Star Coin icon.png 20 or more" and "Energy.png+180 or more". Using Lettuce/Lettuce will create a Star Coin icon.png 20/Energy.png+240 meal, and using Lettuce/Tomato will create a Star Coin icon.png 38/Energy.png+180 meal - the minimum possible value of each field is displayed for making it across all ingredients.Lizz (talk) 16:06, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

Ahh! This makes total sense, thank you for the clarification! Powder (talk) 16:11, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
