Talk:Foraging

I propose the crafting materials that are not found through foraging (but rather mining, digging, etc.) be removed from this page and placed on the articles for their specific means of attainment. Since this is the Foraging job page, it makes sense that it would list only those items that can be foraged and not stuff that can't.—Dukewhite (talk) 00:12, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

In looking into this further, I actually think the table should be renamed Foraging (Collection) or Foraging collection or whatever the wiki's standard for disambiguation is, and this article should be repurposed to be about the Foraging task (in the same way that there's a Fish article on the collection and a Fishing article on the task. Since foraging is a task that characters can specialize in, and has unique mechanics (like what can be duplicated by a hangout bonus and what can't), the article would benefit from being about the activity and not just the collection. It should thus be added to the Activities section of the main page, with the current link under collections instead pointing to the spun-off collection article.—Dukewhite (talk) 00:17, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
