The player refers to the playable character in [[Disney Dreamlight Valley]].

==Character Customization==

When beginning a new game players can select how they look - with a variety of appearances, body types and hairstyles to select from. Some options, like hair, can be changed after the game has started.

Performing any action which consumes [[Energy]] and interacting with other [[Characters]] in game will award experience points. At specific milestones the player will gain a level, increasing their [[Energy]] bar and unlocking a reward at each level.

Some actions, like [[Quests|completing quests]] earn a large amount of XP.
