The Festival of Foolishness has begun once again in the Valley – but this time, on our Official Discord!
Long before the Forgetting, there was a festival dedicated to trickery and nonsense each Spring. As you’ve repelled the Forgetting, memories of the Festival of Foolishness returned to two particular Valley Villagers, Donald Duck and Stitch, and they can’t wait to take part in light-hearted pranks on their friends and neighbors.
But, as usual, they could do with a hero’s help. Through your choices in this interactive story, you’ll decide how the Festival plays out, and claim rewards from a variety of codes along the way.
How to Play
- - This is a text-based adventure, available in English only. To interact with and continue the story, simply click the dialogue/choice option provided via buttons below the Text prompt.
- - Throughout the story, you may run into redemption codes. Make sure to copy them down to claim later in-game through the Code Redemption menu. (these codes will expire on Monday, July 10, 2023 3:00 AM )

→ ARIEL AND WALL·E ON DAZZLE BEACH.
You find Ariel and WALL·E on Dazzle Beach. Ariel sits on a big rock jutting out of the water while WALL·E spins in excited circles. "I'm so glad you're here!" Ariel says as she spots you approaching. "WALL·E and I have been having the best time with the Festival of Foolishness!" "Y-y-y-y-yip!" says WALL·E. "WALL·E is bringing me all sorts of fun human stuff," Ariel says, "and then I'm coming up with silly names and explanations for them if I don't know what they're called or what they do."
WALL·E presents an object to you. You recognize it immediately as a car battery. "Well?" Ariel asks. "What do you think this could be called? And what do you think it does?"

As you walk back into the Plaza, you spot a huge cardboard treasure chest, plopped right down in the middle of the path. It looks just big enough for a couple of people to hide inside. Someone has posted a sign beside it that reads: "DO NOT OPEN! VERY POWERFUL DARK MAGIC INSIDE!".
From within, you can hear the sound of giggling, then the sound of someone yelling "WAKKK! GET OFF MY FOOT!" Another, unmistakeable voice cries out "IKA PATOOKA!"
As you step closer, you hear Stitch say "Acha-coppa!" The treasure chest goes silent, with both inhabitants shushing each other.
→ OPEN THE BOX. | ||||||
You step up to the box and open it. To absolutely no one's surprise, Stitch and Donald both shout "BOO!" and leap out of the box at you. They're covered in dark purple streamers, as if they were surrounded by swirling dark magic. "Chi-ka!" Stitch laughs. "HA-HA-HA!" Donald laughs. "You were so scared!"
|
→ KNOCK THE BOX OVER. | ||||||
You're not about to get pranked by anybody... but certainly not by Donald and Stitch. You walk up and knock the treasure chest over, gently enough that you're sure not to hurt either of its inhabitants. With a shout of surprise, both Donald and Stitch come tumbling out. They're covered in dark purple streamers, as if they were surrounded by swirling dark magic. "WAKKK! What's the big idea?!" Donald shouts.
|
"This is strange," you say. "You two usually prank each other. What made you team up?"
Stitch explains, "Stitch best pranker in Village. Donald second best. Together, we better than best!"
"Exactly!" Donald says. Then he thinks about it for a moment. "WAIT! Except the part where you're the best pranker. I'M the best pranker!"
"Whatever," Stitch replies. "You see how we prank Merlin? Make him all shiny."
You look at Stitch and Donald standing before you, and your head is suddenly filled with one thought.
→ THEY'RE GOING TO MAKE THE BEST PRANKING TEAM IN VALLEY HISTORY! I'LL HELP THEM. |
Stitch and Donald are just chaotic enough that they'll be able to surprise everyone in Dreamlight Valley with their shenanigans. But they might need a little bit of help to do it... "Why don't I come along and help?" you offer. |
→ THIS IS GOING TO BE A DISASTER. THEY NEED MY HELP… |
Stitch and Donald working together could end up being a such a disaster that it will make you WISH you were just dealing with the Forgetting! Someone needs to make sure these two don't get into any trouble. And that someone, once again, must be you. "How about I come along and help you two?" you offer. |
"Yes!" Stitch shrieks. "Now we even better team."
"With you around, we'll be unstoppable!" Donald says.
"What next?" Stitch ponders. "What is funniest prank?"
You think on Stitch's question for a moment before suggesting...
→ ...SOMETHING WITH SOCKS? |
"I've got an idea," you offer. "Stitch, you really confused everybody by stealing socks. Why don't we switch things up and give them TOO MANY socks?" "Yes, yes, yes!" Stitch shouts. "Socks everywhere! But no pairs! Ha-ha-ha!" "Yeah! Let's go find some socks!" Donald shouts. You find as many socks as you can and start stuffing them in mailboxes and storage containers. Soon, villagers can't open a fridge or look under a bed without finding socks, socks, socks! Oddly, whenever you look somewhere for socks, you find a pumpkin or two in the process...

→ ...SOMETHING WITH LAMPS? |
"I got it!" you cry out. "Let's replace the lamps in everybody's houses with that one lamp Scrooge is always trying to sell." "The blue one?!" Donald says. "Yeah, he must have a thousand of those! He's always got them on display!" "Blech! Ugly lamp," Stitch says. "But funny prank!" You harvest enough Pumpkins to sell for Star Coins to buy all the lamps Scrooge's Shop has in its backroom. You sneak into the houses of every Villager and swap out their lamps. Then you put the ones left over on street corners and in the deepest, darkest corners of the Valley. There's nowhere you can go without stumbling on one of those lamps! Luckily, since Mr. McDuck sold you the lamps in bulk, you've even got some Pumpkins left over at the end!

→ A PRANK WELL-DONE! |
[continue to next line] |
After a few hours (and more than a few pranks!), you find yourself back in the Peaceful Meadow.
"That was pretty good, but if we're gonna be remembered as the best prankers," Donald ponders, "we have to do one really big prank."
"Yeah, yeah," Stitch laughs. "Stitch have idea. Blow stuff up with lasers!"
"Lasers?" Donald says with a note of exasperation. "That's preposterous! The last thing we need around here is you blastin' things with lasers!"
"LASERS. ARE. FUN!" Stitch yells.
"WAKKKK!" Donald shouts back.
You'll need to suggest someone to prank before these two start fighting again. Or worse - before they get ahold of a laser and blow up one of the floating islands around Dreamlight Valley. (What is even on those things anyway?!)
→ BUT WHO SHOULD YOU PRANK?! |
[continue to next line] |
At just that moment, two potential prime pranking candidates go past.
"Och, all this foolishness is bad for business," Scrooge McDuck mutters as he walks by you. "As I always say, a confused mind never buys. If you cannae tell what you might get, then you're not likely to spend, are ya?"
On the other side of the Meadow, Ursula pops out of a pond. "Ugh. All this foolishness is interfering with my deal making. I'll be more than glad when this nonsense is finished."
After a moment of hesitation, you say: "Hey, why don't we prank..."
→ "…DONALD'S UNCLE SCROOGE!"
"Uncle Scrooge?" Donald says. He sounds a bit skeptical for only a moment before a sly grin crosses his face. "That's PERFECT!" "Yeah!" Stitch says, chuckling to himself. "Scroogey easy to trick. Make trail of money to a big pit. He follow and go crash!" "Aw, Uncle Scrooge wouldn't fall for somethin' like that," Donald snipes. "But he might fall for a map! A treasure map!" "Yeah! Treasure!" Stitch shouts, before quickly frowning. "But where we find treasure?" "There won't be REAL treasure," Donald explains. "We're gonna make a map to send him on a wild goose chase!" "Goose chase?" Stitch asks. "Stitch chase chickens before but not goose. Sounds fun!" Then he runs off to fetch some art supplies. When Stitch returns, Donald says, "Now we need to decide WHERE in the Valley to send him. Got any ideas?" You think about it for a moment before suggesting...
Once it's drawn, you all rub some teabags on it and add some small imperfections to make it look like something ancient and valuable.
You three watch from a distance. Donald and Stitch start laughing, and you're sure that if you don't do something, they'll alert Scrooge to your hiding spot!
The sound of laughter alerts Scrooge. He spins around and spots you. Uh oh. Scrooge marches towards you, realization breaking across his beaked visage. "Leapin' Loch Ness! I see how it is," Scrooge says, furrowing his brow and shaking his cane at you. "Tryin' to make a fool of me, are ya?"
You think about it for a second before suggesting that you could make this better by...
A grand day of pranks is finally coming to an end. The sun will be setting soon. Just then, Scrooge approaches. "We want to invite you three to a special ceremony in the Plaza," Scrooge says, grinning. "After all, you are the best prankers in Dreamlight Valley. And ya deserve a trophy." "Trophy!" Stitch says. "Yeah!" "About time I get some appreciation around here!" Donald says. "Come by the Plaza at sunset," Scrooge says. "I think you'll find all your efforts are about to be rewarded mightily." Scrooge walks off, headed for his shop. Stitch and Donald both start celebrating. But this all seems a bit... suspicious to you. You wonder if the prankers are about to become the prankees...
|
→ "...URSULA!" | ||||||||||||||||||
"Ursula!" Stitch says, excited. "Yeah! Ursula fun to make mad. Like Gantu!" "Pranking Ursula... that's gonna be difficult," Donald says. "Tricking people is what she does. But I know we can do it!" Stitch closes his eyes and furrows his brow and thinks really hard. "How... trick... Ursula..." Donald takes Stitch's face in his hands and shouts, "Think harder!" Stitch suddenly raises his arms in triumph. "Ooh! Stitch got it! Ursula make potions, yeah? We change potions to go BOOM!"
About an hour later, you hear a loud "KA-BLAM!" from the direction of Ursula's lair. Stitch and Donald look at each other excitedly and rush over to see what's happened. Ursula emerges, glitter all over her face and the edges of her hair lightly singed. She looks angry - even for Ursula. "If I don't find out who did this soon," Ursula bellows as she races from one pond to the next, "I'm going to turn everyone in this village into a sea slug!" "Uh-oh," Donald says. If feathers could go pale, you suspect he'd be going pale right now. "Ursula so mad," Stitch says, "it not funny anymore." You have to find some way to make this up to Ursula before she turns the whole Valley into a giant version of her garden.
A grand day of pranks is finally coming to an end. The sun will be setting soon. "I've been asked to invite you three to a little... celebration," Ursula says, smirking. "You've proven yourselves to be among the finest tricksters in the Valley. It's only right that you're rewarded." "Reward!" Stitch says. "Yeah!" "About time I get some appreciation around here!" Donald says. "Be in the Plaza at sundown," Ursula says. "And trust me, you won't want to be late." She swims off, and Donald and Stitch start celebrating. But this all seems a bit... suspicious to you. Ursula? Inviting you to a celebration? You wonder if the prankers are about to become the prankees... |
→ STITCH AND DONALD START PRACTICING THEIR ACCEPTANCE SPEECHES… |
[continue to next line] |
You enter the Plaza just in time to see a perfect sunset, and all the Villagers gathered around to enjoy it.
Olaf stands on a stage at the center of the Plaza. He's wearing a sash, and looks excited to be taking part in this grand tradition. He hoists up a huge, golden trophy. A banner above him reads: "ANNUAL FOOLING CEREMONY".
The rest of the Villagers are gathered around to watch as you, Stitch and Donald march up on stage. Donald and Stitch are eager to get their prize.
You can't help but notice a bit of a twinkle in Merlin's eye as he looks at you all.
Merlin nods at the trophy and mutters "Higitus Figitus!" under his breath.
Looks like Merlin has had just about enough of all the pranking around here, and he's ready to turn the tables on Stitch and Donald to teach them a lesson!
→ BLOCK THE ENCHANTMENT! |
You nudge Merlin with your elbow, causing his enchantment to go awry. "Oh, ruin my fun, will you?" Merlin gripes. Up on stage, Donald hoists up the trophy. "Finally! Some recognition!" He turns to Stitch. "Why don't I keep this trophy at my house? You know, for safekeeping." "NAGA TE!" Stitch yells as he pulls the trophy away from Donald. "Mine!" "WAKKK, I knew I couldn't trust you!" Donald shouts. "Meega nala kweesta!" Stitch shouts as he runs off with the trophy. Donald scrambles to chase after him as the other Villagers all burst out laughing. "I suppose that's the trouble with an alliance built on fooling," Merlin laughs. "Sooner or later, you wind up the fool."

→ ADD YOUR OWN MAGIC TO MAKE IT STRONGER! |
You focus your Dreamlight magic to add a little extra sparkle to Merlin's prank. Suddenly, the trophy in Donald and Stitch's hands leaps to life! But that's not all - thanks to your bit of magic, it sprouts two Night Thorn arms and starts waving them around. The enchanted trophy wrestles free of Donald's grasp and begins running towards the Forest of Valor. "WAKKK!" Donald shouts. "My trophy!" "Stitch…want…trophy!" Stitch yells as he leaps off the stage, barreling after it. "I changed my mind," Merlin laughs, as Stitch and Donald chase after their trophy, stumbling and tripping over each other as they go. "Perhaps The Festival of Foolishness is more fun than I thought."
