Removing Hardwood is a foraged material which can be found on the ground near trees in the Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights.
There are exactly 10 Hardwood found in the Forest of Valor, 12 in the Glade of Trust, 12 in the Sunlit Plateau, and 10 in the Frosted Heights. A short time after one is picked, another will spawn in a 2x2 space near a tree in the same biome. It also has a chance to be sold at Kristoff's Stall. Once collected it will be added to the Dreamlight Valley Foraging Collection.
Foraged items can be placed in the world by highlighting them inside the Inventory window and selecting Drop. After it has been removed from inventory, it can be positioned using furniture placement mode.
