Sundial Gears is a quest item which is collected during the Eternity Isle Story Quest The Sundial available from Rapunzel.

The can be found floating and glowing in locations all around Eternity Isle during the quest. The areas they are in should be unlocked already, and finding them won't require using Mist to clear blocked passages. They may be either stationary or quickly floating around.
