The Sundial is a Eternity Isle Story Quest available from Rapunzel.

The quest is only available to players who have purchased the expansion pack A Rift in Time. It automatically begins after completing the quest The Ancient Door, which opens a passage behind the waterfall in the Grasslands area of the Wild Tangle on Eternity Isle. It is the second quest in a chain of three to unlock Rapunzel. It is followed by the quest The Tower.

Quest Text

You and Rapunzel enter an ancient grove with a strange sundial in the center and a Sun Core on the ground. A mysterious island floats nearby, just out of reach.

You and Rapunzel fix the Sundial mechanism and discover the large platform moves just like a clock. You reach the floating island.

You discover the Jewel of Time has been stolen -- and a strange magical echo and old diary point to Mother Gothel as the culprit. You and Rapunzel head for her tower to search an old chest that Gothel kept inside.

Objectives

• Investigate the second Sun Core near the Sundial.
• Catch the Floating Sun Core on the Sundial Island.
• Make sure you have the Floating Sun Core in your Inventory. (1)
• This Sun Core looks just like the last one... Where does it fit here?
• Talk to Rapunzel.
• Search the Isle for Floating Sundial Gears. (10)
• Make sure you have all the Sundial Gears in your Inventory.
• Show all the Sundial Gears to Rapunzel.
• Rumbling and grinding noises? Investigate the Sundial.
• Reach the Statue of Time with Rapunzel.
• The Jewel of Time is missing... Investigate the area.
• Investigate the diary page near the Statue of Time.
• Return to Rapunzel.
