The Royal Hourglass is a Royal Tool used for solving puzzles and finding hidden treasure. It can sense the location of treasure, and overcome puzzles by manipulating time. It was added to the game in paid expansion A Rift in Time. Developers announced it during a Dreamlight Valley Showcase stream.

Obtaining

Developers have said the Royal Hourglass will be found in Ancient's Landing after meeting EVE.
