The Royal Tools are items which the player uses to interact with things in the world in different ways.
After starting the game one of the player's first objectives is to collect the basic tools in Merlin's quest 
The Royal Tools. These tools can be upgraded to harvest more resource types by completing quests for specific characters.
Tool Types

Fishing Rod | Used for fishing for fish and seafood at bodies of water. |

Phone | Used to take pictures. |

Pickaxe | Used to mine rock nodes and stones for gems and resources. |

Royal Watering Can | Used to water planted crops while gardening, as well as water Dried Flowers. |

Shovel | Used for digging holes in the ground to gather resources and plant crop seeds. |
Introduced in the A Rift In Time expansion.

Royal Hourglass | Used to detect and extract Mist, resources, and other treasures. Also removes “Swirling Sands” on Eternity Isle. |
