The Flying Metal Nuisance is a Story Quest given by Jafar. The quest begins immediately after completing the Story Quest The Secrets of Eternity Isle.

Quest Text

If you want to stop the Time Rifts from spreading, you'll need to fix the bridge. To do that, you'll need a new Royal Tool... the Hourglass. Jafar told you it's guarded by a "pesky metal nuisance." You'll have to search for it in Ancient's Landing.

You ran into a hostile robot. Maybe you should try to talk to her...

You run into EVE, a little robot with a lot of determination. She's not about to hand over the Hourglass to just anyone. Jafar suggests you search EVE's House to find some way to make her more friendly with you.

Your search yields a Memory showing EVE and someone dressed in a Robot Costume sharing what looks liek a meal in an unknown location. You go back to Jafar.

After finding the costume, you return to EVE, hoping to allay her suspicions.

EVE doesn't see you as a threat anymore, and lets you access the Hourglass.

Armed with the new Royal Tool, you go back to the bridge to learn what you need to do next.

Objectives

• Search for the "flying metal nuisance" to get the Royal Hourglass.
• Talk to the "flying metal nuisance."
• Talk to Jafar at one of the Hologram Stations around Ancient's Landing.
• Go inside EVE's House in Ancient's Landing.
• Remove the Piles of Junk inside EVE's House to find a clue.
• Pick up the paper on the ground.
• Return to Jafar at one of the Hologram Stations around Ancient's Landing.
• Look for the hidden area shown in the Memory.
• Search for both parts of the Robot Costume in the secret area behind the waterfall.
• Dress up using the items you found in the hidden area:
  • The Robot Hat.
  • The Robot Costume.
• Talk to EVE while wearing the Robot Hat and Robot Costume.
• Investigate the Best Fish Forever Recipe in your Inventory.
• Unlock Goofy's Stall in Ancient's Landing.
  • (Find the broken half Goofy's Stall Sign in Ancient's Landing, then complete the "Give Me a Sign" Quest.)
• Gather the following items from Ancient's Landing to make the recipe:
  • * Robot Fish (1).
  • * Cumin (1). (Some of the white flowers around here might be cumin...)
  • * Celery (1).
  • * Sea Snail (1).
• Cook the Best Fish Forever for EVE.
• Make sure the Best Fish Forever is in your Inventory.
• Bring the food to EVE.
• Pick up the Royal Hourglass.
• Return to the Broken Bridge.
• Talk to Jafar at the Hologram Station.
