Star Coins are the primary currency in Disney Dreamlight Valley. They're used to build houses, upgrade buildings, and purchase clothing and furniture.
Acquisition
Star coins can be earned in a variety of ways;
- Selling resources and meals at Goofy's Stalls
- Inside Green Reward Chest and Yellow Reward Chest
- Completing quests
- Clearing Night Thorns
- Serving meals at Chez Remy
Use
Star coins can be exchanged for a variety of goods and upgrades.
- Purchasing Clothing & Furniture from Scrooge's Store
- Purchasing seeds and ingredients from Goofy's Stall
- Building villager homes
- Upgrading the player's house exterior
- Adding floors and rooms to the player's house
- Upgrading stores like Chez Remy, Scrooge's Store, and Goofy's Stalls.
- Upgrading Moana's Boat and WALL-E's Garden
- Completing Dreamlight and event tasks
