Glitchy Pixel Duplicate is a crafted item which can be crafted from Pixel Shards found when visiting other players using Multiplayer.

There are two recipes for groups of this item - which provide either 5 or 12 Glitchy Pixel Duplicates. Once crafted they will can as 'wild card crafting ingredients', filling in for a missing ingredient in a number of crafting recipes.

Bugged Functionality

Players have reported that when using this item for crafting, the game will use all possible items available in Inventory, rather than the quantity needed. This can have dramatic impact - for example, it can result in losing all accumulated Dreamlight, if used to craft a recipe that utilizes it.

It is highly recommended that players do NOT store Glitchy Pixel Duplicates anywhere in Inventory or Storage Containers, as Crafting Stations will automatically pull items stored to complete recipes, even if they are not in Inventory. Rather, drop them on the ground somewhere in the game world or in the Player's House.

If anyone has updated information about the functionality of this item the article can be updated directly, or can be updated by posting in the discussion page or on the wiki's Admin noticeboard.
