Furniture are items which can be placed in the game world - either inside the Player's House or outside anywhere in The Valley.

Many furniture objects - like chests, chairs, and cooking stations - can be interacted with to perform specific actions or special functions.

Furniture is sold by Scrooge McDuck in his store. He has a rotating stock of items which changes daily, and a permanent collection which is available to order from his Catalog by speaking with him. Furniture can also be purchased from the Premium Shop, Events, found inside Furniture Pouches found inside chests and resources, and as rewards from Friendship or Quests. After most furniture items are collected, they willbe unlocked in the Furniture tab of the Collections menu, and Scrooge will add it to his Catalog so that more can be purchased.

Furniture Placement Mode

Furniture Placement Mode can be accessed by by opening the Player’s Inventory.png Inventory, then choosing Menu Icon Furniture.png Furniture underneath Menu Icon Clothing.png Wardrobe in the left sidebar. When the cursor is holding an item to be placed in the game world, the rectangular area of units the item will occupy are highlighted. This area will always be shown with rectangular dimensions, even if the item does not fully occupy the space (e.g. round or irregularly-shaped items). The highlighted area will be colored green if the portion of the item can be placed successfully without any interference. If any items display highlighted in orange (i.e. Landscaping items, Flowers, or holes), these items will be automatically removed when the item is placed. Any portions of the item area highlighted in red overlap or intersect with existing items that cannot be automatically removed.

Since holes count towards the Item Limit, a common strategy to quickly remove them is use an item with a large footprint, such as a Rug or Goofy's Stall, and repeatedly place it over the holes to fill them. The largest rug in the game currently is Lion-Patterned Rug, which is 12x12 units.
