Memories are collectable images and messages which can be found throughout The Valley. Old Ruler's Lost Diaries Memories commonly appear as a small scrap of paper on the ground, and after interacting with them they will turn into a large golden orb. Picking up the orb will unlock the corresponding Memory in the Collections tab. Other Memories can be collected from glowing orbs (Memory Shards), and can be found from Quests, or from doing Activities around the Valley: Cooking, Digging, Feeding Critters, Fishing, Gardening/Foraging (specifically Harvesting), Mining, Removing Night Thorns, and Watering Dried Flowers.

Memory Frames

After completing a memory a Memory Frame will be unlocked which can be placed as furniture inside the Player's House. Interacting with this item once it has been placed in the world will change the Memory displayed. It will cycle through completed Memories in the order of the first collected Memory Shard. More Memory Frames can be purchased from Scrooge's Catalog to display different memories. Select other items also function as Memory Frames, including Flat Screen TV, Wall-Mounted TV, and Curved Screen TV.
