Gaston is a character from the film Beauty and the Beast (1991). He is encountered in the desert biome on Eternity Isle, the Glittering Dunes.

Unlocking him requires purchasing the expansion A Rift in Time. He will join the village after completing the the quest Diamond in the Rough.

His home is a rustic hunting cottage which can be found in The Wastes. Once unlocked, he will be added to the Eternity Isle Characters Collection.

Unlocking

After opening access to the Glittering Dunes, a chain of three story quests becomes available from Gaston - The Wanderer of the Dunes, The Wild Tangle's Swarm, and Diamond in the Rough. Complete the quests, and when Diamond in the Rough has been completed Gaston will join the Village.

His quest chain requires clearing obstacles and gathering resources around the Isle. Gaining access to Gaston's Shipwreck during The Wanderer of the Dunes requires unlocking The Wastes area in the Glittering Dunes for 4,000 Mist.

To start the quest chain speak to Gaston, who will be standing beside the quicksand in the western-most section of The Plains in the Glittering Dunes.

Gaston lives in a rustic looking hunting cottage named Gaston's House which is found in The Wastes area in the Glittering Dunes on Eternity Isle. It is placed already when first unlocking the area, and can be entered during the quest The Wanderer of the Dunes.

Although Gaston will join the village after completing the quest Diamond in the Rough, his house will not be unlocked to move until it is restored during the quest Center of Attention.
