The Glittering Dunes is a biome in Eternity Isle, available after purchasing the expansion A Rift in Time.

It is located on the north-west side of Eternity Isle.

The broken bridge blocking the pathway to this biome can be repaired using 2,000 Mist during the quest The Sands in the Hourglass.

Wishing Wells

Main article: Wishing Well

The The Plains Wishing Well is unlocked using 5,000. A second well is available to unlock in the Glittering Dunes in The Borderlands. Once unlocked, they provide fast travel teleportation using the map.

Gaston's Encampment^[1]

Gaston's encampment in a west offshoot region of The Plains, the entrance to which is in a tunnel next to a fishing body of "water" (sand). The ramp down to the right leads to Gaston's Encampment, while the ramp up to the left leads to the northwest tip of The Oasis. This area is considered part of The Plains, and the Classic Cobra can sometimes be found here.

Shipwreck

Gaston's Shipwreck on the east side of The Wastes, unlocked and visited during the quest The Wanderer of the Dunes.

Cave of Wonders

Main article: Cave of Wonders

A magical cave in The Wastes, unlocked and visited during the quest Diamond in the Rough. It only reveals itself when the two halves of the Scarab Pieces are reunited. When the Cave of Wonders appears, it resembles the head of a tiger that the Player enters via the open mouth.

Jafar's Palace^[1]

Jafar's Palace in The Borderlands, the access to the front of which is unlocked during the quest Your Eternal Reward. It is where the Story arc for Act 1 reaches its conclusion. This area is considered part of The Borderlands, and the Yellow and Purple Striped Cobra can sometimes be found here.

Splinters of Fate

Critters

Cobras are the Critter type in this Biome. Their favorite food is Egg, and they also like Dairy and Oil Ingredients as they are categorized while Cooking^[1]. In order to unlock them as a Companion, Cobras must be successfully fed loved or liked foods 3 times.

Their feeding method is Playing Red Light, Green Light. Watch their body language, and approach when they are relaxed. When they are alert, with their head up, remain still - otherwise, the Critter will move to a new location within the region.

Each color of critter follows a specific schedule - only appearing during certain times on specific days of the week. Some rare critters spawn on one specific day of the week for a window of only six hours. However, these rarer critters do not require any additional feedings to unlock - they just have more limited availability.
