- My wrist a flick, my wand a swish to swiftly grant our fondest wish!
- Oh yes, this is very nice.
- ...Sometimes I think I'd lose my hood if it weren't attached to my cloak..
- This is the sort of beautiful day often wished for, you know.
- What in the world did I do with that magic wand... I was sure I- Oh, I'm holding it. How odd.

Daily Discussions
Tell me about you.
Dreams to me are of interest, you know. Our heart's deepest wishes, they're certain to show. |
Now tell me, my dear, what do you dream of? |
Power.
Oh, many dream of power. The question is, what sort of power do you want?
→ Physical.
Strength of limb can be a useful thing to have.
→ Social.
Oh yes. Why that's much subtler than physical strength, yet perhaps more influential.
→ Mental.
Oh, to be strong of mind is to be both clever and thoughtful! A very great power indeed.
But, as Merlin would say – all power must be responsibly used.
Candy.
Oh-ho-ho! That is certainly a sweet dream. What sort of candy do you love most?
→ Chocolate.
[continue to next line]
→ Gummy bears.
[continue to next line]
→ Butterscotch.
How delicious!
What are you up to?
Oh, fiddlesticks! I enchanted a daisy to gleam and to glow... |
And now I've misplaced it... Oh, where did it go? |
→ Where did you last see it?
Now let me think... Oh yes! In the Meadow where I enchanted a toad who dreamed of dancing. |
I should go right back there and check... Unless... |
→ Why do you do that?
Because the daisy dreamed of being a star, of course. |
A little magic let it shine like one, at least for a while. |
→ You're always losing track of things.
Am I? I hadn't noticed. |
Oh, well, I'm sure I'll find it eventually. Unless... |
Goodness... What in the world...? |
Oh, would you look at that? I forgot. It was in my pocket. |

With Merlin ( Fire Alarm)
Ah, my dear old friend! How good it is to see you again! |
All this Forgetting business means we haven't had our little tea-time chats in far too long. |
Oh-ho-ho! I'd forgotten about that! We must resume as soon as possible! |
Now then, why were we... |
Oh yes! I'm afraid this is not a social call, Merlin. Player and I are on a quest. |
We're looking for a way to douse the fires in the Forgotten Lands. |
An industrious quest indeed! |
Why, I've tried to solve that problem myself but, heh, it's quite the conundrum... |
None of my experiments have been successful at all! |
Well, I'm here now, dear. And I'm sure the two of us will get to the bottom of this little pickle.
Oh, I'm afraid neither of us holds the key to solving this. |
What we need is Dreamlight Magic. |
Goodness, yes... Of course. So only Player can manage it... |
Well, thank you, Merlin. We'll be off. But you and I must meet for tea again soon. |
With Jack ( The Pumpkin King Returns)
I just love batwing pumpkins — what a wonderful name!
Oh, but nothing's more charming than a classic Autumn Gold pumpkin for enchantments!
Too true! I've used those in my parades quite often.
Do you have a favorite type of pumpkin, dear?
Well, I once created my own — it had scales and a dozen legs! It was positively frightful!
