— Oswald
|
Oswald is a character from several animated short films under the series "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit" released from 1927 to 1938, and is notable as one of Walt Disney's early creations prior to creating Mickey Mouse. He is encountered in the in Ancient's Landing on Eternity Isle, in the Ancient Ruins.
Unlocking Oswald requires purchasing the paid expansion A Rift in Time. He will join the village after completing the the quest The Spark of Imagination.
His home is a old-time movie theater unlocked during the friendship quest Oswald's Many Dimensions. Once unlocked, he will be added to the Eternity Isle Characters Collection.
Unlocking
The chain of quests to unlock Oswald begins with the quest The Sunken Ruins on Eternity Isle. This quest becomes available after completing the final quest in "A Rift in Time: Act I, Your Eternal Reward. Unlocking the quest also requires completing the initial friendship quests for EVE (A New Directive), Gaston (Center of Attention), and Rapunzel (The Housewarming).
After the prerequisite quests have been completed, Merlin will begin the quest The Sunken Ruins, and ask the player to collect materials using the Royal Hourglass to unlock the Ancient Ruins. Inside the Ruins there are three chambers, which require EVE, Gaston, and Rapunzel to unlock.
Completing the three quests, Does Not Compute, Hero Pose, and All the Right Notes will advance the Villagers to the Ancient Ruins, then completing the quest A Bit of Help from Your Friends will unlock each of the three chambers and open the lower ruins.
After completing A Bit of Help from Your Friends and descending below Oswald will be encountered. He will assist the player through the quest The Spark of Imagination, and after completing that quest will be unlocked.
His initial friendship quest Oswald's Many Dimensions unlocks Oswald's House.
