Time

Time in Dreamlight Valley is synced with the player's real world local time (after completing a few initial quests).

The game world will mirror the time conditions in the player's world so during the day the sun will be out, and in the evening it will be darker.^[1] Some characters are not available to engage at certain times, as they may be sleeping.

Daily Resets

The following daily resets occur at specific times each day;

Scrooge's Store:	8:00 AM UTC / 4:00 AM EST / 1:00 AM PST (Global)^{[n 1]}
Boutique Challenges:	5:00 AM UTC / 1:00 AM EST / 10:00 PM PST PST (Global)^{[n 2]}
Blue and Green Chests Spawn:	12:00 AM (Local Time)
Critter Feeding:	12:00 AM (Local Time)
Daily Quests:	5:00 AM (Local Time)
Daily Discussions:	5:00 AM (Local Time)

Night Thorns, Dried Flowers Spawn:	5:00 AM (Local Time)

↑ Scrooge's Store resets at the same time globally each day - all player's stores refresh at the same time.
↑ Boutique Challenges reset at the same time globally each day.
↑ No Weekly Quests are currently active.
↑ Unlike the other Resets, the game must be restarted for a new set of 6 Dreamlight Duties to appear. The existing Duties will not reset within a game session.

Character Schedules

Schedule times have been community sourced. They may not be accurate and are subject to change.^[2]

Characters follow regular schedules each day. Most will spend time each day eating at Chez Remy or Tiana's Palace (where they can be served Meals in exchange for Star Coins and Friendship), and inside their homes. Many Villagers also visit Scrooge's Store daily.

Villagers that run Stalls or other stations will always appear for user interactions, regardless of that Character's current schedule. For Prince Eric's Blueprint Table and the cooking station inside Chez Remy and Tiana's Palace, Prince Eric, Remy, and Tiana will always disappear immediately after the interaction with the station is completed. For Goofy's Stalls, Kristoff's Stall, Mulan's Tea Stall, Tiana's Meal Stall, Moana's Boat, and Scrooge McDuck construction signs, if the Character is not currently scheduled to be elsewhere, they will often remain next to the station and then resume wandering the Valley. Otherwise, they will disappear and return to their currently scheduled location.
