Spoiler: Step 0

Must find Golden Potato Quest first but do not have to complete the potion prior to starting the quest.

Spoiler: Step 0.5 - Finding Instructions

The items must be found in order. Items will not appear until the previous one has been found. Must be in inventory as well.

Spoiler: Step 1

This step will find a Blue Potato. Where have you found a colored potato in the game before? Maybe a similar type of Location? Spoiler: More Help The Red Potato was found in the Character House of Remy, but the Blue Potato is found in Ursula's Lair. Spoiler: Solution Upon entering Ursula's Lair turn right and locate the Blue Potato along the right side of the pond.

Spoiler: Step 2

This step will find a Blue Shell. Where have you found blue shells before? Maybe a similar type of location? Spoiler: More Help The Blue Shell can be found in the Moana Realm Spoiler: Even More Help The Blue Shell is hidden along the outside of the island. Spoiler: Solution Upon entering the realm face the island and go through the first opening between palm trees to the right. Walk through the water to go along the outer right side of the rock formation in the middle of the water. There are some invisible barriers, so you will have to push your way through. Going right and left works better than forward sometimes.

Spoiler: Step 3

This step will find a Blue Starfish. This is another area that has shells that you may not have visited in a while. Spoiler: More Help The island where you first meet Ariel Spoiler: Even More Help "Embark" on raft on Dazzle Beach near Skull Rock Cave Spoiler: Solution Upon entering the area turn left and walk to the end of the sand peninsula. Walk forward through the water until you reach a dead end. The Blue Starfish will be in a clearing between the rocks on the right side.

Spoiler: Step 4

This step will find a Blue Book. This is an area that you may have visited during the Golden Potato Quest. Where have you been that has required a recipe and cooking as part of the puzzle? Spoiler: More Help The Blue Book can be found in the Mystical Cave Spoiler: Solution Enter the Mystical Cave and travel all the way to the end. The Blue Book can be found in the water amongst the pillars.

Spoiler: Step 5

This step will find a Blue Gem. What is a place that you can go to get many different types of gems? Spoiler: More Help The Blue Gem can be found in the Vitalys Mine Spoiler: Solution Upon entering the mine, go left and follow the tunnels. Immediately after the tunnel filled with glowing mushrooms, there is a fork with one rock spot a little ahead straight, and a track branching right with a rock spot at the end, and a dead-end track over a crevasse. Go to the edge of the track, and turn left. There will be a mining cart filled with glowing crystals, and the Blue Gem in front of it, to the left, in some reddish-brown foliage.

Spoiler: Step 6

This step will transform the items you have found (Blue Potato, Blue Shell, Blue Starfish, Blue Book, Blue Gem) into a Brilliant Blue Potion. It may be best to not go far from where you last were. Spoiler: More Help You can combine the items in the Vitalys Mine Spoiler: Solution In the mines there will be a glowing water spot between some mine carts on the left and a wall of blue glowing crystals on the right. Transfer the items into the available slots. A Brilliant Blue Potion will pop out. You must pick it up; walking over it will not pick it up automatically.
