Green Potato Quest (not an official name) is a Hidden Quest that is not associated with any Character.

The quest does not have any text provided to the user, and it does not appear in the interface in any way beyond the items that are involved. It must be discovered.

Puzzle Solutions

Spoiler: Step 0

Take a look around the Valley for any items that were not there previously. As with all hidden quests, check for interaction labels to appear when you approach an object.

Spoiler: Step 0.5 - Finding Instructions

There are Emerald Bottles submerged in water around around the Valley. The bottles may be difficult to see depending on the lighting/time of day. They can be collected by casting using the Fishing Pole. When the line is cast to the correct precise location, golden ripples will appear around it in the water, and the player must successfully reel in the catch.

Spoiler: Step 1 - Finding Items

Below is the list of places where the Emerald Bottles can be found. While they are numbered below, they do not need to be found in any order. Spoiler: Step 2

This step will convert the items you have found into Emerald Slivers. Spoiler: More Help Note the description of the Emerald Bottle. Also note the fact that the items do not stack -- what does that indicate? Spoiler: Solution Use each of the 16 Emerald Bottles to open them and convert them to Emerald Slivers.

Spoiler: Step 3

This step will transform the Emerald Slivers into a Jade Crystal. Spoiler: More Help Where have you turned many pieces into another whole in a previous quest? Spoiler: Even More Help In the Orange Potato Quest, a Crafting Station was used to craft Orange Pebbles into an item used in the next step of the quest. Spoiler: Solution At a Crafting Station, use 16 Emerald Slivers to craft the Jade Crystal. The Crafting Recipe will not be listed at a Crafting Station until all 16 Emerald Slivers are found. The recipe is listed under Functional Items. The Ingredients do not have to be in in the Player's Inventory to craft.

Spoiler: Step 4

This step will use the Jade Crystal to obtain a Green Seed. TODO: short text hint. Spoiler: More Help TODO: hint - reference location - Herbalist Room. Spoiler: Solution When you approach the Conjurer's Bookcase (which has a green orb on it), there will now be an option to Interact. This option will not be available until the Jade Crystal has been crafted. Unlike previous hidden quest items, you will not need to Pick Up the item, and will be able to run over it to collect it if done so within a short time frame from interaction. The Jade Crystal does not need to be in the Player's Inventory - it will automatically be used from any Storage Container.

Spoiler: Step 5

This step will use the Green Seed you to obtain a Green Potato. TODO: Short text hint. Spoiler: More Help TODO Spoiler: Solution Dig a hole, plant the Green Seed in the Forgotten Lands, and water it. It will not come up as an option of seed to plant in any other Biome. The Green Seed must be in your Inventory. It may take up to 3 hours until the Green Potato can be harvested. It will not require any watering after the initial watering.

Spoiler: Step 6

This step will transform the Green Potato into a Crystalline Green Potion. Spoiler: More Help What have you done to turn a colorful Potato into a Potion in a previous quest? Spoiler: Solution At a Crafting Station, use the Green Potato, the Jade Crystal, and an Empty Vial to craft the Crystalline Green Potion. The Crafting Recipe will not be listed at a Crafting Station until the Green Potato is harvested. The recipe is listed under Potion & Enchantment. The items do not have to be in the Player's Inventory in order to be used by the Crafting Recipe.
