Ready Player Fun is a Friendship Quest available from Vanellope.
It's available after reaching level 4 Friendship with Vanellope, unlocking Nala and Mirabel, and progressing with Scar.
Quest Text
Vanellope needs help adjusting to life in the Valley.
Without game rules to follow, she doesn't know what to do with herself. You volunteer to help show her what other Villagers do for fun.
You head indoors to let Vanellope pick her hiding spot.
You find Vanellope deep in the Vitalys Mines. She proposes another game -- a race back to the entrance.
Vanellope has one final mini-game in mind -- EXTREME fishing. The game begins, and you rush to catch three fish in three minutes while Vanellope keeps time.
Objectives
- Mine any gem. (3)
- Catch ay fish. (5)
- Plant any crops. (30)
- Harvest any crops or fruit. (30)
- Talk to Vanellope.
- Go into Scrooge McDuck's Store to let Vanellope hide.
- Find Vanellope's "dark and dangerous" hiding spot.
- (Optional) Ask Villagers for hints about Vanellope's hiding spot:
- Search for Vanellope in a dark and dusty place on the Sunlit Plateau.
- Follow the candy trail inside the Vitalys Mines to find Vanellope.
- You found her! Talk to Vanellope.
- Race Vanellope to the outside entrance of the Mine.
- Talk to Vanellope.
- Catch three fish before time runs out.
- Catch any fish as fast as you can. (3)
- You have THREE minutes! GO GO GO!
- Return to Vanellope.
- ↑ At this point, Vanellope will follow your Player throughout the Valley, as if they are Hanging Out. They do NOT have to actually be Hanging Out for the requirements to be satisfied. No Friendship XP will be granted if they are not Hanging Out. Vanellope's glitch animation will not occur for this duration.
