This quest appears after completing the quest Collect 'Em All: Strangers from the Outside!. The time between completing the quest and this quest being offered is just over two days.

The Alien Toys required for this quest appear inside the Dream Castle and Remy's Restaurant. The first 8 toys will be available to find after accepting the quest, and about 36 hours later the remaining 7 will appear.

Initially 4 toys can be found in the castle, and 4 inside the restaurant. Then about 36 hours later the rest will appear in the castle and restaurant as well.

I have some new intel, Space Ranger, and the situation is critical. The remaining Aliens have gone into Attic Mode. They've tucked themselves away in some of the most hidden parts of the Village. →  We have to find them! I like your attitude, PLAYER. I'm sure you'll handle this with your usual professionalism. →  If they're asleep, are you sure it wouldn't be rude to wake them? Not at all. I'm sure they're only hiding because they're scared. →  I wish I could go into Attic Mode. Sounds relaxing... Relaxing, maybe. But it gets lonely after a while. Toys are meant to be played with, not packed away. We need to search every dollhouse, shoebox, and trash receptacle we can find. You know the Valley better than I do, PLAYER. It's your settlement. So tell me... If you had to hide somewhere in this Village, where would you go? Once you know that, check there.

Any sign of the Aliens?

There's no telling where they might be hiding today. So, I recommend you keep an eye out while you do your regular rounds of the Village.

Excellent work, PLAYER! That should be the last of them. Search and rescue missions like this test even the most skilled Space Rangers, but you handled it with style. I'll keep an eye on the Aliens and let you know how they're adjusting. But for now, you've more than earned this Space Ranger Supply Kit!
