Immediately after the tunnel filled with glowing mushrooms, there is a fork with one rock spot a little ahead straight, and a track branching right with a rock spot at the end, and a dead-end track over a crevasse. Go to the edge of the track, and turn left. There will be a mining cart filled with glowing crystals, and the Blue Gem in front of it, to the left, in some reddish-brown foliage.
