Poor Unfortunate Prince is a Friendship Quest which unlocks Prince Eric.

It's available after leveling Friendship with Ursula to level 10, and completing her quest A Deal with Ursula.

Quest Text

You managed to get Eric back... but not in the way you hoped. You need to break the news to Ariel.

After talking with Ariel, you decide to ask Merlin for some magical help to turn Eric human again.

Merlin gave you a spell for restoring a handsome prince. You'll need to build him a house in the Village, find an object that's dear to his heart, and have Ariel call out his name before sealing the spell with true love's kiss.

It worked! Eric is human again.

• Bring Poor Unfortunate Eric to Ariel.
• Go ask Merlin for help.
• Place Prince Eric's Castle in the Village.
• Use the Scrooge sign to pay for the construction of Prince Eric's House.

• Bring Eric's Flute to Ariel.
• Welcome Eric to Dreamlight Valley.
• Talk to Eric.
