Lasers & Crafts is a Friendship Quest available from EVE.

The quest is only available to players who have purchased the expansion pack A Rift in Time. It's available after reaching Friendship level 4 with EVE and unlocking Mirabel.

After completing this quest EVE's Secret Garden area in The Overlook area of Ancient's Landing will have a large stone with a painting of WALL-E and EVE.

Quest Text

EVE needs your assistance with a mysterious problem she caused with the plants in her secret garden. You decide to help her.

EVE set the plants in the secret garden ablaze by accident. After extinguishing the fires, you decide to improve the garden and you go ask Mirabel for some inspiration.

The young Madrigal surprisingly goes above and beyond by remembering a project from before the Forgetting where there was a plan to create a Stone Canvas that EVE could then use to make a masterpiece using her laser. You go talk to EVE about it.

The little robot is thrilled about the idea, and you go look for the Ancient Gemstones.

With the Ancient Gemstones melted, you go to craft the Stone Canvas.

After giving the Stone Canvas to EVE, the only thing remaining is for the little robot to create her own masterpiece.

Objectives

• Go to the secret garden with EVE.
• Use your Watering Can on the Fires. (5)
• Talk to EVE.
• Talk to Mirabel.
• Return to EVE.
• Use your Hourglass to find the Ancient Gemstones around Ancient's Landing. (2)
• Now that you have the Ancient Gemstones, it's time to melt them.

• Bring the Ancient Gemstones to EVE.
• Make sure you have the Ancient Gemstones in your Inventory. (2)

• Follow EVE to a mystery location.
• Talk to EVE.
• Use your Royal Tools to remove:

• The Fire. (6)
• The Craters. (2)

• Pick up the Melted Ancient Gemstones. (2)
• Talk to EVE.
• Craft the Stone Canvas.
• Make sure you have the Stone Canvas in your Inventory.
• Bring the Stone Canvas to EVE.
• Follow EVE.
• Talk to EVE.
