Very Magical Minnie is a Friendship Quest available from Minnie Mouse after picking up the Borrowed Spellbook. It's a yellow book, sparkling on the ground just outside the north-west corner of the Plaza square.
Picking up Borrowed Spellbook automatically begins the quest
Quest Text
The tattered old spellbook seems more like something Merlin would own, but the tidy notes in the margins are unmistakably in Minnie's handwriting. You'll need to ask her why she was reading this to find out more.
After talking to Minnie, you learn that she's been wracked with worry that she might start to disappear to the Here and There again. You offer to help her by seeking counsel from Merlin.
Merlin asks you to gather some Dream Shards and some stories from various Villagers about what they love most about Minnie. Surely this must be for some sort of complicated enchantment Merlin is cooking up.
Merlin explains that no spell will help Minnie. What she needs is reassurance that as long as friendship, love, and care hold Dreamlight Valley together, no one will ever be forgotten.

Final Conversation: Minnie Mouse, Player

Oh, hello, PLAYER. Was Merlin any help in sorting out this magical muddle?
The books he lent me had so much interesting information, but nothing that will help us.
→ Merlin gave me a very powerful spell...
XXXXXX
→ He helped put some things in perspective.
Oh, good. Merlin's so helpful that way. What did he tell you?
player
He told me that there's a magic more powerful than any simple spell holding this Village together.
→ We had a little misunderstanding...
You did? About what?
player
Well, I thought Merlin was getting me to gather stuff for some kind of spell. But it was something bigger than that. A different kind of magic.
player
It's a kind of magic that runs on...
→ ...kind words.
XXXX
→ ...caring for one another.
[continue to next line]
→ ...always being there for each other.
[continue to next line]
Really? That does sound like a very special kind of magic.
player
Merlin got me to talk to some of the other Villagers, so we could remind you how important you are around here.
player
Elsa told me about how you're always there to listen to her whenever she needs a friend.
player
And Anna told me that nobody can make her laugh like you do. ... Except maybe Olaf.
player
And Moana, she said that what she loves best about you is your strength of heart, and that you never give up, no matter what.
... Oh my. I don't know what to say, PLAYER. That is so sweet.
And I'm very grateful, but... how does that stop us from disappearing into the Here and There?
player
Because that's the magic, Minnie. We'll never disappear again as long as we...
→ ...never stop caring for each other.
XXXX
→ ...always make sure everyone feels loved.
[continue to next line]
→ ...always respect what's special about each other.
[continue to next line]
Oh. Of course! It's so simple. I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't see it before.
Well, I guess I can return these books to Merlin. As long as you and I are here, I know everything will be okay.
Because I'll always make sure everyone knows how loved they are.
player
And I'll always...
→ ...protect the Valley.
XXXX
→ ...help everyone out.
I know you will!
→ ...solve all the weird problems around here.
I know you will!
Oh! I just thought of something else.
I was so worried about everyone disappearing... I didn't realize how much Clay I asked you to bring me to build that Rustic Clock Tower. Was it too much?
→ It was no trouble!
XXXX
→ It wasn't too bad.
Phew! I'm glad it wasn't too much trouble for you to gather all that.
→ IT WAS SO MUCH CLAY, MINNIE.
Oh, I'm so sorry, PLAYER. I didn't realize how hard it would be to find.
To thank you, I found some Clay myself. I want you to have it so you can build whatever you like.
And Uncle Scrooge says he's so happy that the Rustic Clock Tower is helping keep time in the Village that he wants to give you a little reward too.
Here you go!
