Directive: Plant is a Friendship Quest available from EVE.

The quest is only available to players who have purchased the expansion pack A Rift in Time. It's available after reaching Friendship level 7 with EVE.

Quest Text

EVE wants to show you something in her House. you decide to go there.

You discover a mysterious plant that looks dry and almost dead and that EVE cannot manage to scan. It's time to update her scanner and you decide to help her do that by designing an accessory for a scanner inspired by Ancient's Landing, using local materials.

You discover that the mysterious plant is in fact a Dreamlight Cobra Lily and EVE really wants to save it. You have to take a closer look to determine what to do about it.

Since the plant is carnivorous, you decide to put together a plate of Gourmet Grubs.

Objectives

• Go to EVE's House.
• Talk to EVE.
• Gather the materials:

• Ancient Gears with the Hourglass. (3)
• Craft Mechanical Parts at a Crafting Table. (3)
• Copper. (10)

• Craft the Scanner Accessory.
• Go to EVE's House.
• Make sure the Scanner Accessory is in your Inventory.
• Give the Scanner Accessory to EVE.
• Inspect the Dreamlight Cobra Lily.
• Return to EVE.
• Find the Ingredients:
  • Sea Snail.
  • Sand Worm.
  • Scorpion.
• Cook a plate of Gourmet Grubs.
• Give EVE the Gourmet Grubs.
