Quest Text

Now that Jack Skellington has had time to settle into the Valley, he seems to have come up with a new goal -- maybe he needs some help.

Jack Skellington thinks he's found a location that would make for a perfect laboratory, but now he needs supplies!

While you were gathering supplies for Jack Skellington, he was getting a crash course on magical objects from Merlin and now has an interest in experimenting on Night Shards.

Jack Skellington thought he had a breakthrough but inadvertently created a Giant Night Thorn. Maybe Merlin has a tip for dealing with this...

Luckily, Merlin has just the potion to deal with the Giant Night Thorn... if only you could figure out the right one to use.

You've figured out the correct potion to use to deal with the Giant Night Thorn! But what's this that remains?

Objectives

• Head inside the Vitalys Mines.
• Find Jack Skellington in the Vitalys Mines.
• Gather the following materials:
  • Softwood (12).
  • Coal Ore (8).
  • Empty Vial (4).
  • Fabric (3).
  • Iron Ingot (3).
• Craft a Scientific Kit.
• Make sure you have the Scientific Kit in your Inventory.
• Bring the Scientific Kit to Jack Skellington.
• Gather some Night Shard (6).
• Head inside the Vitalys Mines.
• Make sure you have the Night Shards in your Inventory. (6)
• Bring the Night Shards to Jack Skellington in the Vitalys Mines.
• Talk to Merlin.
• Find each potion in Merlin's Library.
  • Purple Potion.
  • Blue Potion.
  • Green Potion.
  • Yellow Potion.
• Merlin said that the correct potion is the opposite of a Night Thorn -- place the right one on the Giant Night Thorn. (Looking at each potion’s item description may help you.)
• Talk to Jack.
• A Night Thorn Sprout appeared. Pick it up.
• Bring the Night Thorn Sprout to Jack Skellington.
