Gaston the... Hero? is a Friendship Quest available from Gaston.

It's available after reaching level 4 Friendship with Gaston.

During the step where treasures must be dug up based on locations in a Memory the required treasures can be found in the following locations:

• Glittering Dunes - An item sticking out of the sand in The Wastes in front of the entrance to the Cave of Wonders.
• Wild Tangle - A sparkling dig spot on The Grove side of the bridge from The Grasslands.
• Ancient's Landing - A sparkling spot in The Docks, next to where EVE's Ship is found.

Quest Text

Gaston is bored! Try to help him get some new hobbies by taking him on a fishing tour of the Tangle.

While fishing, Gaston found a fragment of a compass, sparking memories of buried treasure. Track down the missing pieces to complete the compass!

The completed compass has spawned a Memory of the locations where Gaston hid the treasures -- try and track them all down.

The treasures turned out to be lost items belonging to different Villagers. But which item belongs to whom?

With the treasures returned to their rightful owners, Gaston finally feels like a hero again!

Objectives

• Catch either an Electric Eel, a Piranha, or a Prisma Shrimp in the Wild Tangle.
• Make sure you have one of the following in your Inventory:

• Piranha, Electric Eel, Prisma Shrimp.

• Show Gaston what you've caught.
• Find Compass Fragments near water using the Hourglass:

• At the Docks.
• In the Oasis.
• In the Grasslands.

• Reassemble the compass at a Timebending Table.
• Investigate the Gaston's Repaired Compass in your Inventory.
• Talk to Gaston.
• Dig up the treasures in each Biome based on the Memory:

• Ancient's Landing.
• The Wild Tangle.
• The Glittering Dunes.

• Make sure you found all the treasures:

• Mysterious Light Bulb.
• Mysterious Brush.
• Mysterious Climbing Pick.

• Show the treasures to Gaston.
• Find the owners of each treasure.

• The Brush.
• The Light Bulb.
• The Climbing Pick.

• Return to Gaston.
