An Alarming Development is a Friendship Quest available from Oswald.
It's available after reaching friendship level 4 with Oswald, unlocking Stitch and Olaf, and clearing the paths to the Oasis and Borderlands in the Glittering Dunes and the Grove and Lagoon in the Wild Tangle.
During the quest escaped clocks will need to be collected from around Eternity Isle. They can be heard when nearby where they are running. The locations of the clocks are:
- Charleston: Near The Docks in Ancient's Landing
- Foxtrot: Near The Oasis in the Glittering Dunes
- Texas Tommy: Near The Promenade in the Wild Tangle
- Lindy Hop: Near The Plains in the Glittering Dunes
- Tango: Near The Wastes in the Glittering Dunes
- Shimmy: Near The Grasslands in the Wild Tangle
- Swing: Near The Lagoon in the Wild Tangle
After returning these, there are three more to collect:
- Rumba: In a gold fishing pool The Docks in Ancient's Landing. Collect by fishing using the Fishing Pole.
- Conga: Under a rock in the south-east area of The Lagoon in the Wild Tangle. Break the rock using the Pickaxe.
- Waltz: Under an umbrella in the The Borderlands in the Glittering Dunes. Dig up using the Shovel.
Quest Text
What's going on with Oswald? Strangely, he seems to be both sad and over-rested...
Oswald wanted some help to wake up in time for his brunch with Stitch, but after you made him a set of alarm clocks, his cartoon logic animated them all and they escaped all over Eternity Isle.
You managed to round up the escaped alarm clocks, but to your chagrin, the clocks had been waking people up all over Eternity Isle! Oswald distributed some special coffee as an apology, but the coffee sent everyone into a burst of Oswaldian slang.
The alarm clock debacle dealt with, you managed to set up a Friendship Picnic for Oswald and Stitch, allowing them to finally catch up and enjoy each other's company.
Objectives

- Check back with Oswald in 10 minutes.
- See how Oswald is getting along with his alarm clocks.
- The alarm clocks are on the loose! Catch the runaways before they wake up the entire Island.

- Waltz was spied getting a good tan in the Glittering Dunes.
- Make sure you have the last alarm clock triplets in your Inventory.
- Bring the last alarm clock triplets to Oswald.
- Talk to Olaf to see if he can calm down the rambunctious alarm clocks.
- Meet Olaf and Oswald in Oswald's House.
- Listen to Olaf's bedtime story.
- Talk to Oswald about the consequences of his clockwork experiments.
- Gather the following resources:
